A while back, maybe a year or two, I had an interesting commission to illustrate a series of poems written by a blind man named Bill. He recently got in touch again to ask for a second set of drawings for further poems that he's written, with themes along the lines of
"Chariot racing in the ancient Rome" and "The Leaning Tower of Wheelie"
I love doing these as they're so surreal and I can really go to town with the drawings - which are then described to Bill. It's very odd hearing your drawings explained bit by bit.
